We’re on a mission to make sure Lisburn City has the vibrant, independent local media it truly deserves. In a world where regional news is often forgotten or replaced by bigger national stories, we believe Lisburn’s unique identity, voices, and stories deserve to be heard loud and clear.

Like so many communities across Northern Ireland, Lisburn has a strong sense of togetherness, and we believe that spirit deserves a local radio station, a modern digital news platform, and a space for real community storytelling.

What We’re Creating

We’re building something special — a local media service designed just for Lisburn. Here’s what we’re working on:

• A radio station focused on local life, broadcasting on DAB across Lisburn and Belfast

• A digital news platform with up-to-date, trustworthy local reports

• A local TV platform that shines a spotlight on our people, places, and issues

Together, these platforms will become a hub for news, culture, conversations, and connections all around Lisburn and beyond.

Growing Through 2026

2025 has been a year of exciting progress. Behind the scenes, we’ve been busy building the foundations, recruiting contributors, and getting ready for long-term success. We’re committed to delivering high-quality, community-driven content, and that takes time.

A big part of this process is bringing on local volunteers. We’re training new presenters and producers, giving them the tools and knowledge they need to deliver professional-quality shows. As the year goes on, you’ll hear more local content hitting the airwaves.

One of the first shows you’ll hear is "Mixtape 80s Rewind", hosted by Mark Gibson — a fun, nostalgia-packed celebration of the greatest hits from the 80s.

Our Launch

We were beyond excited to officially launch the radio station on December 14th at 12:00 noon, with a special moment made even more memorable thanks to the support of Mayor Kurtis Dickson of Lisburn & Castlereagh. You can listen to us now on DAB radio across Lisburn and Belfast, and we’ll be offering more ways to tune in soon!
